Nick Korte and myself are two VMware Solution Engineers who have a new podcast out, Nerd Journey, focusing on the IT Operations career advice that we wish we'd gotten earlier in our careers. We try and sprinkle in some industry news too when relevant; In the trailer episode, you can hear our advice on going to VMworld (and similar conventions) and why it's can be a catalyst to moving your career forward.
Happy to listen to any positive and critical feedback along with topics we should address in the future. So far, we've covered conventions, early interviews (with HR and hiring managers), work/life balance, and hero worship. We've got about eleven episodes locked, 3-4 more in edit, and plans to continue indefinitely!
